Types of Medicare Advantage Plans

HMO Plans

Lower costs with a network of doctors and hospitals. Choose a primary care physician and get referrals for specialists.

PPO Plans

More flexibility to see any doctor. Pay less for in-network providers, but can use out-of-network at higher cost.

Important: Enrollment Periods

You can enroll in Medicare Advantage when you first become eligible for Medicare (Initial Enrollment Period) or during the Annual Election Period (October 15 - December 7). Special Enrollment Periods may apply based on certain circumstances.
